        Cheong Chi Wai is a filmmaker from Macau. He graduated from the Master’s program in the Department of Filmmaking at Taipei National University of the Arts, majoring in directing. He has been a trainee at the Golden Horse Film Academy, the Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival Film Academy, and the FIRST Training Camp. “Someone Who Was Lost” is his debut feature film.

For seniors living alone, the sense of loneliness could be devastating. Even when retired chef Wei meets his son, daughter-in-law and grandchild for dinner, he could not be engaged in a meaningful communication. Wei finds no particular purpose in life and his days are often repetitive and trivial—taking the same bus ride and bickering with the same driver day after day. When he discovers an online channel of a young girl who broadcasts her having dinner, Wei’s life takes a surprising turn and he finds something to hold on to.

The Cinematheque・Passion is located at Travessa da Paixão which is a narrow and romantic bystreet branching off the famous World Heritage Site "Ruins of St. Paul's Cathedral" (the "St. Paul's Cathedral Site") in the Historic Centre of Macau. A three-storey building equipped with ticket office, screening room, control room, film information room and exhibition space.
