Jackie works as a CCTV operator. Each day she watches over a small part of the world. One day a man appears on her monitor, a man she thought she would never see again, a man she never wanted to see again.
The movie is named after “Red Road Flats” in Balornock, Glasgow, Scotland, which at the time of its construction was the tallest residential building in Europe. Red Road was director Andrea Arnold' first feature film and the first in the Advance Party project.
