Mini Ama Seashell (Parent-Child Class)

Through cinema, a Portuguese director will introduce us to the vanishing lifestyle of the ama (traditional female divers) on the Shima Peninsula in central Japan. Let us join hands, parents and children together, to create a mini ama seashell, paying tribute to this intangible cultural heritage of East Asia.

Final Product: A clay beach scene with a seawater base, featuring a cute white seashell (open shell with a pair of small eyes inside), adorned with a few tiny pearls as decoration.

Date and Time:

November 23, 2025 (Sunday), 11:30-13:00 (Parent-Child Class)

 Capacity:

10 parent-child pairs

How to Participate:

Please purchase two tickets for the China and the Portuguese-speaking Countries Film Festival, complete the registration form, and provide proof of ticket purchase.
