Stanley Kubrick Considers The Bomb is a new short film that takes us inside the mind of one of the greatest film directors of all time. Produced and directed by Matt Wells for Park Circus, and with contributions from those who knew Kubrick best, including Katharina Kubrick, Jan Harlan (Kubrick’s Executive Producer and brother-in-law) and journalist and author Eric Schlosser, the film considers how he responded to society’s widespread concern about nuclear war and transformed it into his irreverent comic masterpiece Dr Strangelove or: How I Learned To Stop Worrying and Love The Bomb.

About the Director

Stanley Kubrick was an American film director, screenwriter, producer, and photographer. Widely considered one of the greatest filmmakers of all time, his films were nearly all adaptations of novels or short stories, spanning a number of genres and gaining recognition for their intense attention to detail, innovative cinematography, extensive set design, and dark humor. Classic works include Eyes Wide Shut, 2001: A Space Odyssey, A Clockwork Orange etc.
