【SECTION 2】Our Voz

2025 / 134‘ / Macao / In Cantonese with Chinese and English Subtitles / Color

OUR VOZ follows four young people—A Bao, A Nan, Jenifer and Kai Fan—who grew up in Macao as part of the post-2000 generation.

Beginning in 2018 and spanning several formative years, the film traces their journey from graduating secondary school in 2019 to their lives in 2023, when they are studying or working in Macao, Beijing, Hong Kong, Taiwan and the UK. As Macao moves through a period of post-pandemic transformation, these young adults struggle to find their place between family expectations, social pressure and personal ideals. Through long-term observation and interviews, the documentary captures the growth, values and inner worlds of a generation, while reflecting on the challenges and possibilities facing young people in contemporary Macao.
