Nov - Discover Macau

93'

In November, "Discover Macau" will put the spotlight on the work of five local cinematographers who have shot in other places.

Sou Wai Kin, who was shortlisted for Best Cinematographer at the Golden Horse Awards, will present his new film Unofficial History of Time with his distinctive style of photography. British cinematographer Benjamin Lam’s Big Dog demonstrates his infinite creativity, using vivid camera shots instead of a script to tell a story, resulting in a short film with excellent photography and storytelling. Local cinematographer Adrian Lee’s short film One Summer's Day, which deeply depicts how the protagonist faces the cruel reality beyond imagination during his youth. Sleep Talking is delicately lensed by Sisterhood’s cinematographer Simmy Cheong, whose delicate lens travels through different spaces to elevate the story beyond the usual narrative techniques. The Girl and the Ronin by American cinematographer Jacky Shun Man Cheung tells the story a ronin and a girl through his cold and emotional camera work.
