For this pre-screening sharing session, we invited Anson Ng, who is well versed in film and music culture and also the owner of Macau's "Pin-to-Livros", to share his memories of listening to Ryuichi Sakamoto's music over the years. He will present a selection of Ryuichi Sakamoto's favorite works from his personal compositions and movie soundtracks and talk about how his music career has lasted for more than 40 years, and how he has even ushered in a new wave of popularity in his twilight years, especially in the Chinese region and South Korea, where he has become a new idol in the hearts of many young generations. We will also introduce some background information about the film Ryuichi Sakamoto|Opus that you may not know, as well as some of the considerations that went into the selection of the 20 tracks in the film. We are looking forward to seeing you in the movie theater and immersing yourself in Sakamoto's last recital, which he has carefully arranged for his fans, and which he has left to the world.
